Several months ago I shot a piece for Edible Philly on Green Meadow Farm in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Glenn Brendle, the owner of the farm, showed me his greenhouses where he grows microgreens, a variety of vegetables, and even bananas (!), as well as his personal workshop. Glenn uses leftover cooking oil to heat the greenhouses in the winter, making his farm eco-friendly. I so enjoyed talking with Glenn, learning about how the farm is operated, and getting a break from the city for a few hours.
